The Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx hasn’t been part of Nike’s release calendar for quite some time, but the silhouette still holds an interesting place in the wider Cactus Jack sneaker archive.

Travis has since shifted his attention toward new Air Jordan 1 Lows, football boots, and tennis projects, but unreleased Zoom Field Jaxx concepts are still beginning to surface. The latest is a previously unseen blue-heavy sample that offers a look at one of the colorways left behind during the development process.

Water for a Cactus

The unreleased Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx recently surfaced through Japanese secondary-market sneaker boutique Worm Osaka, which claims the pair is the only example in existence.

Still carrying its original sample tag, the sneaker takes a much cooler approach than most of the Field Jaxx colorways that reached retail. Layers of blue, teal, and yellow run throughout the design, while familiar Cactus Jack branding appears across the heel and outsole.

The lower portion of the upper begins with rough teal suede around the toe and side panels, followed by a strip of lighter blue leather positioned directly above it. Additional shades of blue suede cover the upper sections and forefoot strap, creating a layered tonal finish.

Yellow detailing adds contrast around the ankle collar and sockliner, while a mint green Swoosh stretches across the side panels to complete the color palette.

Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx Sample Details

Unlike the Zoom Field Jaxx colorways that eventually made it to stores, this particular version never progressed beyond the sample stage.

There is currently no indication that Nike or Travis Scott plans to revisit the blue colorway for a future release, meaning the pair will likely remain part of the unreleased Cactus Jack archive.

For collectors, that might make it even more interesting. The sneaker offers a glimpse at another direction the Zoom Field Jaxx could have taken — one that never made it past the cutting-room floor.
