Hiroshi Is Back to His Old Moves
Hiroshi Fujiwara is back to doing what he does best. After linking with Union LA and Jordan Brand earlier this year, the Japanese design legend behind fragment design appears to be back in the mix for another three-way Jordan project — this time with Travis Scott and Nike on an Air Jordan 1 Low sample.
The pair keeps the familiar Cactus Jack formula alive with the signature backwards Swoosh, while fragment’s blue, black, and white language brings the collaboration back into a lane collectors already know well.
Hiroshi Is Collecting Collabs
Fujiwara took to Instagram this week to preview the Air Jordan 1 Low sample, initially keeping the pair slightly hidden through a black-and-white look. But with fragment involved, the color direction was not exactly hard to guess.
Further looks reveal a mix of black, white, and electric blue. The unreleased pair features a black toe and upper structure, blue suede on the toebox, and a white reverse Swoosh across the side panel. Above the Swoosh, Cactus Jack and fragment branding bring the two worlds together.
More white and blue detailing appears on the tongue tag, while the heel tab comes in white and the midsole takes on a slightly aged off-white finish.
Travis x Fragment Still Moves
As of now, the pair appears to be only a sample and has not been confirmed on the official Jordan release calendar. But coming after Travis Scott’s recent Pink Pack energy and Hiroshi’s fragment x Nike Mind project, this is exactly the kind of sample that would create chaos if it ever saw a public release.
For Stashed, this is the kind of sneaker moment that proves some collaborations never really leave the conversation. Travis Scott and fragment already created one of the strongest Air Jordan 1 Low stories in recent memory, and a new sample only adds more fuel to the archive.
Whether this pair eventually drops or stays locked away as a sample, it already has people watching.
