Ronnie Fieg Is Ready to Flex
Ronnie Fieg is enjoying the moment. The Kith founder and creative lead is still fresh off the opening of Kith’s West Hollywood flagship, a space built with the kind of old-school luxury energy the brand has been leaning into lately.
Now, Fieg has more reason to celebrate after being recognized by Complex as one of streetwear’s biggest movers. And instead of keeping the moment quiet, he took to Instagram with a new slideshow that mixed career highlights, studio shots, and a few details worth paying attention to.
Hidden between the screenshots and design studio moments was what appears to be a never-before-seen Kith x New Balance sample. The pair shows up in soft blue and grey tones, with suede overlays, premium mesh, and white support paneling across the toe area.
From the preview, multiple color combinations appear to be in the works. One pair features light blue suede with black mesh, another comes in grey suede with white mesh, while a third mixes grey suede with blue mesh. A U1890V1sample tag can also be seen, suggesting this could be a new take on the New Balance 1890.
Still Under Wraps
As of now, no official release details have been announced for the Kith x New Balance sample. But Ronnie Fieg is usually calculated with what he previews, and a pair like this does not show up by accident.
For Stashed, this is exactly the kind of quiet sample worth watching. It is not loud, forced, or overdesigned — just a clean New Balance shape filtered through Kith’s usual eye for color, material, and timing.
